Celebritites with Epilepsy
Cameron Boyce:
Cameron Boyce was a childhood actor, well known for his role in Disney shows and movies like Jessie and Descendants. Unfortunately, at the young age of 20 he passed away due to epilepsy. However, this event allowed for awareness to be spread all throughout the U.S. on Disney channel. Cameron Boyce was also someone diagnosed as a teenager. Hearing that one of my childhood actors also battled with seizures, allowed me to see that I'm not in this alone. Additionally, I learned to form different outlets to continue living the good life despite having seizures. His outlet was acting and being around other young actors. (1)

Lil' Wayne:
Lil' Wayne who is an American rapper, well known for the song "Got money" is another celebrity who is diagnosed with epilepsy. Lil' Wayne was diagnosed with epilepsy at an early age, and had continued dealing with it. As a rapper and performer having seizures wouldn't be easy, this has led to him having to cancel concerts when he is suffering from a seizure. This shows that sometimes all you need to do, is to rest, relax, and take time to yourself. This allows you to get back on your feet rather than letting the seizure control your life. (1)

Elton John:
Elton John a British singer and pianist, well known for "rocket man" and "can you feel the love tonight" in lion king is yet another famous individual who deals with seizures. However, he was unfortunately diagnosed with having seizures due to his dependency on drugs and alcohol back when he first started his career of music (1). Alcohol is known to be a very common trigger for seizures to occur, however its not a trigger for all those diagnosed with epilepsy. Seizures may occur from alcohol do to the mixture of taking anti-seizure meds and drinking, or may also occur due to alcohol withdrawal. Both cases are very serious!
