Hello all! My name is Katelyn. I am a 21 year old engineering student who has suffered with seizures for roughly 5 years. However, I was only recently diagnosed with epilepsy. Throughout this blog I will inform you of my real experiences with seizures while also providing forms of research.

Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures are seizures which are not caused by a misfiring of electricity in the brain, rather they are produced by a persons mental health or a set of triggers.
How to Help
* not avoiding those with seizures
* calling 911 when you see someone have a seizure
* reassuring the individual
* understanding they work differently than others
